That said, like many women, I do feel the guilt that creeps up when dishes fester in the sink and laundry piles up. The anonymous woman&#039;s quote above resonates with me: &quot;I&#039;m constantly aware of the fact that all the time I spend on those things is time that I&#8217;m not writing.&quot; This can lead to resentment and frustration, especially when a deadline is looming. Perhaps guilt is inherent in women, but we must transcend this and choose what&#039;s more important - clean dishes or another 500 words. </description>
